Sun Salutation Yoga

In traditional yoga practices, Surya Namaskars, or Sun Salutations, are practiced early in the morning to greet the sun, at the end of the day during sunset, as its own physical exercise at any time of day, or the beginning of practice as a full-body warm-up.

A 90-minute Iyengar Yoga class for regular practice is a good combination of proper sequence alignment and muscle engagement learning, with the use of all Iyengar Yoga props.

A class focuses on the alignment of asanas by using a different length of the stick as a yoga prop.
